Fluid Filtration Print this page

Fluid management is an essential part of chip management in that reclaiming fluids provides a rapid ROI, as well as substantial environmental benefits. It has two general components – handling the fluid (its capture, transport and containment), and filtering it. Inter-Source fluid filtration ensures capture and containment from any point in and throughout the entire reclamation process, and is typically an essential function supporting pucking (chip densification).

A high-volume (2,400 gallons / minute) central coolant filter providing uninterrupted, precise (approx. 10 microns @ 10 ppm) filtration, utilizing both permanent and indexing disposable filter media.

Vacuum media filtration provides continuous filtration, unlike bags. Media are self-indexing; a range of media are available to filter to the desired level. Permanent media are also available.
